Phase I orthodontic treatments for kids (2-10 years old):
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial visit to orthodontist for children should be around Seven years old. Early treatment at mixed dentition can offer many benefits to your child if your child is suffering from the following problems: crossbite, underbite, overbite, crowded or misplaced teeth, spacing, thumb sucking or lip biting habits, etc. Early treatment can allow orthodontist to guide the upper and lower jaw grow more properly.
